This is very uncomfortable especially when trying to enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants. The other big negative for us at Barona is the extremely cold temperature that they keep their air conditioning set at. The price for the buffet is a whopping $45 per person! Classic card holders (the lowest level) MUST put $500 through the machines to get any discount on the buffet.

This is obviously the intent behind the change in this regard. Unfortunately a new policy on the pricing in the past year at the buffet has put it out of any reasonable reach for all of those except for the heavy/frequent gamblers. We enjoy the Sage Cafe and Italian Cucina and at one time, we were quite fond of the buffet. The hospitality is outstanding as well as the atmosphere, decor and ambience. Barona Casino and Resort is undoubtedly the most upscale casino of it's kind in San Diego County.
